Lifting Point Inspection, Proof Load Testing & Certification

SB Lifts provides inspection, proof load testing and certification of existing lifting points used within lift shafts, motor rooms and plant rooms..

Lifting points are frequently used during lift servicing, modernisation, and major repair works to lift motors, gearboxes, drive sheaves, and other heavy equipment. Therefore, lifting points intended for this purpose must be suitable for the loads applied and maintained in a safe condition.

We can inspect and proof load test existing lifting eyes, lifting beams and other fixed lifting points, providing certification and identification where required.

SB Lifts can design, install, inspect, and proof load test a wide range of lifting points specifically for the lift industry, including:

• Lifting beams from 250 kg to 5,000 kg Safe Working Load
• Lifting eyes and lifting loops from 100 kg to 2,500 kg Safe Working Load
• Mechanically fixed or welded lifting points within lift shafts and motor rooms
